Trail Access Decals(TADs) are valid from time of purchase until December 31st of that year.

Registration

To legally operate an ATV in Vermont, both residents and non-residents must register their vehicles. Vermont residents can register their ATV through the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) by providing proof of ownership and paying the necessary fees. Non-residents who plan to ride in Vermont must also register their ATV with the Vermont DMV unless their vehicle is already registered in another state. Registration ensures that riders contribute to maintaining the trails and comply with safety regulations.

For more details and to complete your ATV registration online, visit the Vermont DMV ATV Registration page.

Trail Access Decals

Trail Access Decals (TADs) are conveniently available for purchase exclusively online. This ensures an efficient, paperless process that allows ATV riders to obtain their decals quickly and securely from anywhere. By moving to an online-only system, we can streamline operations and focus more resources on trail maintenance and rider support.

Visit our Join VASA page to get your TAD and enjoy the trails with ease!
